Fraud upon the people, by South Dakota attorney general...

I just put up a link, over in the right hand column, to a South Dakota Supreme Court decision (Stegmeier v. Long et al.) which basically is an admission that Attorney General Long's version of the J.A.I.L. amendment (his Amendment E) was really not an accurate description of what J.A.I.L. really is. This decision resulted in Amendment E being allowed on the ballot, where it was defeated. J.A.I.L. was not defeated, Long's misrepresentation of it was. Interestingly, two judges disqualified themselves from the case. Quoting from notes at the end of the decision,
"Justice Sabers agrees with the Court, except dissents in part on the basis that the attorney general's ballot explanation fails to state the purpose of the Constitutional Amendment E and, therefore, is not objective."
